The View From Your Kitchen Table : Meet the Maker Workshop

By: HAA Admin

What do you see when you look around your home?
A coffee mug, fruit bowl, a pair of reading glasses or a biscuit tin on the kitchen counter?

Join Lisa for a relaxed 2 and a half hour workshop exploring still life through sketching and painting. Together we’ll discover how everyday objects can inspire creativity when we slow down, and start to notice them.

“One of the joys of still life is that inspiration is always close at hand. You don’t need to travel, wait for the right weather, or search for the perfect view. The next drawing is already in front of you.”

Perfect for beginners and improvers, this friendly workshop is about observation, and enjoying the process rather than producing a perfect picture.

All materials are provided, along with a sketchbook for you to take home and continue your creative journey.
No experience needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to have a go.

The beauty is already there. Your job is simply to notice it.
