There is a covenant for Uxbridge Library so would stay “for community”, but LBH can always get round these problems.
Brunel Herald were filming Uxbridge Library protest. Barbara Fisher’s column will go in next week as there is a 2-week delay.

St Andrew’s estate – project being mothballed till at least 2025 as not economically viable in current climate. Don’t know about the old cinema. It was “sold” but don’t know situation now.
New leisure centre in WD has also ground to a halt.
Sine Nomine – 2/12 concert good, just about broke even. Next concert 16/3 at St Laurence’s, Eastcote. Better audience there than All Saints. Recently refurbished. Good for parking. Rehearsals still in hall at All Saints.
Uxbridge Choral – 16/2 concert at St Margaret’s. Excellent audience. Lovely concert in summer but only 25 in audience. Next concert 23/3 at St Andrew’s. Choir member doing solos and no orchestra.
Zoe suggested that everyone send details to Lydia for the minutes so she didn’t have to write it all down.
Ruislip Dramatic Society. Habeas Corpus had very good audiences. Do pay attention to “bums on seats”. This year is 100th anni. Chorus of Disapproval 12-15/6. Alan Ayckbourn. New play-reading starts 2.15 to 4.45 Tuesday 6/2, free but booking essential, at Compass. In drawing room overlooking garden. On the website. First Tuesday of month. One play per evening. All involved. Using LBH scripts library.

Middlesex Woodturners, last year very good. Easter weekend at Great Missenden.
Ickenham Art Society – hut being demolished, had been there since 1947, now moving into guide hut, same evening. Membership steady.
Hillingdon Philharmonic. 4/2 Bishopshalt. Repertoire day, then to Red Lion for lunch. March, family concert, film music, one hour. June, WC hall, guitar concert. November, Northwood College, very appreciative audience, very superior seating to WC hall, super foyer.
Very worried about cost of WC hall. Austumn 2019 80% less than 2022/3. March = 3 times as much, + an extra 30%.
U3A singers. Short of numbers. Combined with ukelele and guitar groups, end Feb/March. Rehearse Thursday afternoons at URC 2-4.
Pastiche – Spamalot at Compasss March 20-23.
Floral Art – very hard to get members, esp. committee. Treasurer for 20 years. £10,800 in grants over 20 years. Started workshops, quite successful. Anyone can come. Demonstrators now very expensive.
Society of Ruislip Artists – workshop at Ruislip Manor library. Doing another 27/1, will do one a month, 2 hours. (Van Gogh Iain will do short demo). Monthly meeting, demonstrator. Spring exhibition Cow Byre 10-23/3.
